The Miracle Worker and Angela’s Ashes have several things in common, but also there are some major difference. Firstly, their themes include the difficulties of the life, and also both are dramatic films which quote from Helen Keller and Frank McCourt’s true lives. Secondly, both Helen and Frank are perseverance people, in this way they can overcome obstacles. In addition, these films show that whatever we encounter , we should be stubborn to resist difficulties. In spite of these similarities, those two films are different from each other. For example, Helen is blind and deaf, but Frank doesn’t have any physical disability. When compared in this respect, Helen’s condition is more regrettable than Frank's condition, but in terms of pecuniary, Frank is unluckier than Helen, because he lives in misery and always struggles with poverty. In summary, even though they are impressive films, I am more influenced by Angela’s Ashes on account of his miserable life and its effective showing.
